  • Classic carriage house designs are available by selecting any of the four base colors, combining any of eight window options, and a large selection of applied decorative hardware

 

  • Four layer sandwich-type construction using prefinished materials (steel + insulation + steel + PVC overlay).

  • 1-3/8’’ polystyrene core and a thermal break between inside and outside skins result in R-value of 6.7.

​​

  • Use of one-piece sheet of PVC eliminates seams in overlay

​​

  • Extra heavy duty track and hardware have a three year warranty

Bright White

All overlay design boards and window trim are available in Bright White only. The Arctic White base color takes on a light gray appearance by comparison that serves to highlight the overlay design.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

 

Your Lancaster Door is designed for low maintenance with a pre-painted steel base and cellular PVC design overlays. Due to the nature of the vinyl overlays on the steel base, General Doors recommends factory colors only. If you choose to paint your door we recommend:

  • Using a "vinyl-safe" or Heat Reflective Paint

  • Choose a color with an LRV (light reflective value) of 55 or higher

  • Properly clean door using a mild detergent and a soft cloth, then rinse with a garden

         hose prior to painting. Do not use a high-pressure spray.

If a darker color scheme is required, consider using our Cambridge Model door, a composite wood product designed to be painted with no color choice restrictions.

​

Failure to follow these guidelines can cause the vinyl overlay to distort and/or delaminate, thus voiding the warranty.
